Lock, Wrap & Release

Fast hiking shoes use a special upper construction technology called Lock, Wrap & Release specifically designed to provide appropriate foot stability while trail running. The rear blocks (LOCK) the heel, preventing dangerous sliding inside the shoe, the medial section encloses (WRAP) the foot like a sock for maximum comfort in the step-transition stage, while the front part leaves the foot free (RELEASE) to push on the ground to generate maximum propulsion power.
